REO Rocks in the NEW YEAR!

every now and then you do something that you look back and say to yourself...ROCK N ROLL! this is one of those days. i love when things happen in a moments notice long enough for you to catch your breath, grab onto anything that is flying by and running at full tilt.

REO put on a show this past week that sent the juices flowing and put karen and i on a ride that can only be expressed through our photography.

coming off this roller coaster was definitely a pretty big step but the memories are etched in our hearts FOREVER.

karen and i received a letter from the lead singer, kevin cronin, that i would like to share with you now.

i know it was like pulling teeth to get me to cooperate, but the results speak for themselves...the photos are awesome!

i think working quickly like we did, while it is not optimal for the photographer, is best for capturing us. i think the fact that our minds were on playing music, rather than on posing for pictures, played a part in the vibe of these photographs. naturally joey's talent and flexibility, and your set design, along with our natural good looks came into play as well :-) but seriously, joey did a great job.

the color group shot looks to be our flagship shot for the album! and there are great solo shots of all of us that we can use in the cd booklet as well.

i am happy for you and joey, and for us, that it worked out this way...this was what i was hoping for. i look forward to viewing the rest of the photos asap.
